TCS, Infosys estimate growth in dollar revenues
The leading IT companies are estimated to register growth of 4-6 per cent in dollar-denominated revenues during the quarter ended June 30, 2011. According to a latest report, the growth is better than the previous quarter, courtesy the strong demand in key markets of North America and Europe.
The productivity of big IT players like Infosys and TCS, could encounter trivial economic pressure due to wage hikes but it won’t affect the overall profitability of companies.
IT outsourcing demand is going to benefit TCS and HCL Technologies in a major way. Investors are expecting a 5-7 per cent orderly growth during June.
Sources have also revealed that Infosys and Wipro, the second and third-largest IT companies, will most probably witness higher revenue growth than the previous quarter, but may continue to lag behind their competitors.
Infosys is expecting sequential revenue growth between 2.6 per cent and 3.6 per cent in dollar terms. But the average estimates of seven brokerages is higher. They predict a 4-5 per cent revenue growth in June.
