Microsoft invented the magic stylus
Very interesting development, the research team has demonstrated in the Microsoft TechFest 2011. New, yet located at the prototype stage, is actually a capacitive stylus-enabled multi-touch and built-in orientation sensor that can change its functionality depending on how the user holds the instrument in his hand.
As shown in the submitted promotional video, with the help of this pilot stylus to simulate the function of the pen, airbrush, a compass and even a virtual flute, as well as implement a number of other scenarios by simply changing the manner of the capture device in your hand. Looks really quite interesting, although it is unclear whether something similar is implemented in commercial products and exactly when it happens.
